At Green & Black's we believe that sourcing organic ingredients for our products is beneficial to the taste of the products we make. Organic farming is not open to the genetic modification that is increasingly important in agriculture to maximize yield in favor of taste.
It is also our belief that farmers who grow their crops organically often are more interested in, and therefore concentrate more on, the quality and taste of what they grow. They are therefore more likely to choose varieties and growing methods that ensure that they can successfully grow their crops without the use of chemicals, often resulting in the reintroduction of neglected or obscure varieties long since forgotten, while achieving the best taste possible.
