All of our products are organic & certified by the California Certified Organic Farmers (CCOF), and meet the National Organic Program (NOP) standards set by the USDA, thus giving consumers of organic products an assurance that the product is from a trusted source and matches the high standards of production.

All our plantations where we source our cocoa beans are visited to ensure they adhere to strict guidelines ensuring organic production.

Organic production differs from more commercial farming methods in that it relies on nature to produce the crop. The term "organic" when applied to crops, animal rearing and food in general is actually referring to the sustainability of the land so it can continue to provide food without becoming exhausted of nutrients. In practice this means that organic farming does not allow the mass use of chemical fertilizers & pesticides thereby encouraging a more natural environment for both people and animals.
