FAQs
Is your chocolate suitable for people with diabetes?
It is a myth that people with diabetes can't eat chocolate. Chocolate, if eaten in moderation, as part of a healthy balanced diet will not have an adverse effect on your long term diabetes control. It is important to remember that chocolate is high in fat and calories as well as sugar and therefore should be eaten in small and sensible amounts by people with diabetes as is recommended for the general population in line with healthy eating guidance.
We would advise all people with diabetes to consult their doctor or registered dietitian for advice or visit Diabetes UK website for further information.
