What are Daily Intakes(DIs)?

Daily Intakes are a guideline to an average person’s daily intake of nutrients. DIs are not a target but a useful way to compare foods and help people balance their diets.

DI labelling shows the percentage of a person’s daily guideline amount of kilojoules, protein, fat, saturated fat, carbohydrates, sugars, and sodium that is contained in a serving of a product.
